Jeff Plumb's Top 10 Table Tennis Points (1989 - 2000)

Fun Stuff

Recently, Mark Smythe, a fellow table tennis enthusiast and player who represented Australia at the 2000 Olympic Games, embarked on a journey to showcase the top 10 points of Australian table tennis players. And guess what? Our very own Jeff Plumb is featured in his latest video! Join us as we relive Jeff's top 10 table tennis moments and celebrate his achievements on the table.

The first point is from the U/17 Australian Open final in 1989 against Mark Palmay. Jeff had just won the U/15 Australian Open title an hour before and although he won the point in the video he was outclassed by Palmay and had to settle for second place. The second point is from the 1990 junior nationals featuring Bill Rajab. The next series of points are taken from the Australian National League (yes there once was such a thing!) where Jeff represented the Coburg Table Tennis club. We're especially proud to highlight the last two points and Jeff's historic achievement at the 2000 Olympic Games, where he and his doubles partner Brett Clarke secured the first-ever win for an Australian men's doubles team.

A big thank you to Mark Smythe for capturing Jeff's achievements and celebrating the talent of Australian table tennis players. You can find out more about Mark on his website. Until next time, keep practicing, keep playing, and keep the passion for table tennis alive!
