We recently had the pleasure of interviewing Tom Lodziak about his new book "SPIN: Tips and tactics to win at table tennis". You can win a free copy of his book by watching the video and answering the question we pose! In the interview Tom discusses his journey into table tennis and how it helps him as a coach. Tom believes that age is no barrier to improvement and with work and effort most people can improve. His experience helps him relate to adults who have started to take the sport more seriously and wish to become better. I hope you enjoy the interview and I'm sure you'll find some useful pieces of information to help you improve your own table tennis. Enjoy!

Dear Jeff, Alois and Tom: thank you for this wonderful exchange. I already have purchased Tom's book, at the end of the summer, and it is as you described in this interview. So friendly with amateur players just trying to improve their table tennis. This book, and you all three, are giving such confidence in our capacity. Again, thanks a lot and I wish you all the best for this coming New Year.

Great discussion gents.
For me the hardest players to play against are those with unreadable serves.
You can only really learn that from some kindly quality players having a training session with you.
Getting adult coaching is hard hence why I use Ping Skills to learn the fundamentals.
Having someone with the right mindset like Tom is definitely the type to take a club forward.
