Hi there coach, I am having some difficulties in selecting rubbers because I don't know what kind of rubber to buy. So I need your help coach.

I just wanted to ask, how should I know what to select between the chinese or european/japanese rubbers. I already know that It is a matter of preference but my question is how do I know what should I use. What playing styles are ideal for chinese rubbers and what playing styles are ideal for euro/japanese rubbers?

I previously used donic desto f3 (non-tacky) on both sides and I recently switched to DHS Tin Arc 3 on my forehand and friendship supersoft on my backhand. My blade is STIGA carbo-tube. I play shakehand grip. I want my style to be an ALL-AROUND ATTACKER. To achieve this style. what rubbers should I use?

thanks in advance..

Hi Wayne,

You can achieve an allround attacking game with a whole lot of rubbers and combinations.

The rubbers we always recommend are the Mark V, Yasaka Pryde and XIOM Vega Pro.  The Mark V and Pryde are fairly soft rubbers and the Vega is a little harder.

The Chinese harder rubbers are suited to a fast topspin attack.  The Softer rubbers cna be more suitable for the consistent topspin but also for player faster when required.  It really is a matter of feel for yourself.  Which of the rubbers that you have used feels best for you?

I hope others may also have some suggestions for you.
