Hi Alois, in the past, table tennis players played with sandpaper rubbers but I searched videos on matches and people still use it for tournaments. Does it have grip? because I see the players doing their strokes and don't fail on doing them, and what is the difference between sandpaper and normal rubbers?
Thanks! and Im almost mastering the forehand topspin stroke.
Hi Pasquale,
The sandpaper can’t generate much spin. The players you are watching are probably very proficient at the game and can adapt.
Good to hear that your forehand is improving.
The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.
