Strokes
i want to hit a backhand smash without any topspin or backspin. My opponent has come to know about this and he defeats me.
Pls help
THANKS
Hi Shaant,
Hitting a backhand smash is not a shot that we recommend. You will notice that most top players very rarely play a backhand smash. That is because if the ball is high enough, they get around and make a forehand smash.
If the ball is up a little higher in the backhand side you can play a Backhand Topspin like in this lesson.
Question actions
The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
