Hi guys, is there any advantage to practicing with 38 mm balls? Our HOA where I play bought a bunch not knowing. Or will it really mess you up?

Hi Mark,

I don't think there is any real advantage in training with the smaller ball.  I think because Table Tennis is so specific with its skills you should practice with the appropriate equipment mainly.

As a novelty or to increase awareness you could train with them sometimes but only on an odd occasion.

Apart from the serve, the return is the most important stroke in Table Tennis. This week we focus heavily on the first 2 balls in the rally to give you the maximum time serving and returning.
