hello my name is haram elahi i am a semi pro table tennis player. i am good at strokes but i play casually on a normal table with my racket donic carbotech 100.once i went for the tounament and i was struggling on my strokes and table there was quite fast and balls spin on it even more i defeated 2 players but the 3 one give me no chance he played with is forhand quite fast and i usally play nearer the table and i was struggling to  give back his smashes with the forehand. and my racket was bouncing balls offside but it does not on the other table.

now my question is that i should improve my games on tournamet table or i should change my racket sutaible for the tournament table.and i am not struggling on my storkes either back or forehand in any other table. or i should leave on playing on low grade table and also tell me that does table effect the game and what role racket plays

Hi Haram,

It sounds like you need to get used to playing on the faster tables.  The best thing is to enter more tournaments and try to get there as early as possible and play on the tables as much as you can.

I don’t think you need to worry about changing the racket just yet.
