Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

I haven't tried Acuda S1 or S2 but Acuda S3 is my regular FH rubber for over a year.  While I obviously can't comment on S1 or S2, I found the S3 to be a very good quality rubber...good spin generation, enough control but still has enough gears to hit strong attacking shots.  It's not a blazingly fast rubber but plenty fast enough for most people (depending on your style) I reckon.  I read somewhere it has a softer sponge than S1 or S2.  Don't know whether that's true but it certainly is a fairly soft sponge...which I prefer...I feel like I have longer dwell time and more control...and easier to hit opening loops vs backspin.  Okay as a blocking rubber but not great IMO.  I changed to Acuda S3 after using Tenergy 05 for a while...and I found it to be an acceptable lower-cost alternative.  Tenergy 05 was fantastic but just too expensive.

Hope that's helpful
