Almana Sound v Innova Light

Hello Coach

 I am using stiga hybrid wood NCT with innova ultralight rubber for both sides. I have been playing for around 6 months and would describe myself as a pre-intermediate player. Recently, I was recommended to buy Almana Sound rubber to replace the innova ones. I am not sure whether the Almana Sound would work better with Stiga hybrid wood. How often should I change the rubbers if I use it around 2 a week at most?

Hi Ginette,

The Almana will give you a little more speed if that is what you are looking for.

I haven't used this combination with a Stiga Hybrid wood.

Depending on how well you maintain the rubber you should probably change it after between 6 to 12 months. Look for how worn the rubber is.  If you can see the pimples start to show through it is time to change.

If anyone else has used thse rubbers or combination let us know.
