So I was watching some older table tennis videos. I've found several such as Koki Niwa vs Ma Long Asian Olympic Qualification Game. I was wondering why there are games such as these. If countries enter the olympics separately then why do they have Olypmic Qualification Games for the entire Asian Continent.

Hi Dhruv,

There are a few ways to qualify for the Olympics.  They also have some qualification spots available for each continent.

Some players also qualify through their world rankings.
