Strokes
Hello Alois and Jeff,
How do you make an attacking stroke on a ball that is around net height or even lower and the ball is coming off the table. All I can do is send it up with a forehand.
Hi Wasiq,
As soon as you tell me the ball is coming off the table my trigger is that you can topspin the ball back. Even if it is low you can use the topspin and get it low, just depending on the angle of your racket.
Take a look at this previous response to an Ask the Coach question on Below the Table Level. i think this will help you with your query.
Most players are told to always return to the ready position after every stroke but that might be hurting your game. In this video, we reveal a smarter way to recover:
✔ Track the ball immediately after your shot
✔ Move your racket into position for the next shot instead of blindly resetting
✔ Improve your timing, balance, and flow during rallies
Whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, understanding this subtle change can have a big impact on your consistency and speed around the table.

Hello, Wasik. You should specialize on that. That is really an invitation for you to attack.
