Dear coach,

Your website is great and it really helped me improve. I play as an attacking style with Carbo which is my current rubber. However my coach said that he'll change my rubber because my current rubber is coming to an end, and my top guess is the tenergy rubber. I've played with it before for it has excellent spin and speed.

Should I change my strokes to make them shorter?

Regards,

Abdulla

Hi Abdulla,

Thanks for your kind words about the site.

Tenergy is a very good rubber.  You don't need to shorten your stroke.  If you are playing them correctly then you will be able to play them with a faster rubber as well.  You may need to tilt the angle slightly downwards to allow for the extra speed.
