Strategy
i've been training for 3 or 4 months already. and my coach told me that my backhand is good and he will develop it more..... but is having a good backhand a good game strategy?
Hi Samuel,
In todays game you need to have 2 strong sides. The ball is moving too fast to be able to cover the table with one side. So having a good backhand is important but so is having a good forehand.
Work on both strokes equally. If you find that your backhand is a lot stronger then spend some time working on the forehand to get it up to the level.
Fast flat rallies are ideal for short pimples. To counter this you can play with a lot of spin. Watch this video for detailed tips on how to play against short pimples.
