Hi Alois:

I have noticed players using forehand as their mean weapon to go for the kill or play a forceful shot and use backhand for defense or place a drop shot.   Whether playing a forceful shot using a backhand is much more complicated  than playing with a forehand.

Hi Ram,

Some players do prefer the backhand.  It does not need to be a more complicated shot at all.  It is a matter of getting the stroke correct and fluent.

Always think about the start and finish positions of the stroke and then get as fluent a path between the two.
