Hello !

I would know to do a backhand attack with a antispin rubber because using this rubber I can do  only backhand chop.

Thanks.

Hi Nicolas,

It is possible but it is not the strength of this type of rubber.  To attack with it you need to open the angle of your bat and hit the ball flat on contact.  It is easier off a backspin ball rather than a topspin ball.

Antispin and LP have similar playing characteristics but it is MUCH easier to attack with antispin.  I had a lot of success doing this when using the anti in doubles.  You just basically do a counter hit kind of shot (more flat than an inverted stroke, as Alois said).  It's very dependable because 1) you don't have to worry so much about incoming spin, and 2) you have really high control with antispin and it basically goes where you hit it.  It is challenging to hit it VERY hard (because of the lack of topspin to give you arc), but easy to do a moderate pace attack with.  If the ball is a bit higher, you can also punch with it.  When I used the anti, I was basically a hitter and attacked with it much more than I chopped with it.

I think some antispin rubbers are easier to attack with than others.  I used Yasaka Antipower because I read that it was a good attacking antispin.  Apparently, you can even loop with it - but this is something I never mastered.

Thanks  for  your help.

This will allow me  to don't only   backhand chop  because   to attack only with my forehand  isn't necessary   obvious  ^^

I have to admit you that I badly use this rubber.  But I like  playing in attack defense    so the backhand  antispin with a forehand backside   was a good idea according to me  ^^.

Ok indeed    Ji Soo

I too use Yasaka Anti Power .

I  am surprised that it can make so many things with this antispin.
