Backhand chop with hard bat

When I try to backhand chop with a short pimpled no sponge rubber, ball goes higher and out of the table.What should I do?

Hi Praveen,

It is difficult to develop your game with short pimples no sponge.  I would get some rubber preferably some inverted pimples with a little bit of sponge to be able to develop your strokes first.

If your shot is going out of the table then your stroke also needs to be more vertical, coming down more.  This will get the ball to travel less distance.
