Hi Alois,

I am a left handed player like you. My Tutor says that the weakness of left handed players is their backhand. As he said, I feel the backhand counterhit is the most difficult kind of stroke ever. Only 10 per cent of all my backhand is successful. All the other hits fall to the net. Would you please reply to this message on how to improve my backhand?

Cheers,

Dhanvith

Hi Dhanvith,

The backhand doesn't have to be a weak stroke.

The main thing is to stay with the basic principles we show you in the tutorial on the Backhand counterhit. https://www.pingskills.com/tutorials/table-tennis-strokes/backhand-counterhit
