is the counter hit counted as spin? I don't understand.
Hi Martin,
When you play a counterhit, you do impart a small amount of topspin on the ball. If you follow the basic action you will naturally generate the topspin.
If you want to impart more topspin and hence be able to hit the ball harder and still have it land on the table, take a look at our Forehand Topspin lesson (also known as a forehand loop) .
