hey.. i m a left handed player n i hav a huge backhand problem i.e i cant play backhand even a little bit instead i  move to the right hand corner of the table n hit forehand shots if my opponents serve or hit shots at my backhand n this is the key factor to my defeat so please help me n teach me proper backhand.. thank you

Hi Amir,

Start by learning the basic backhand counterhit.  Hit this many times till you feel confident.  Take a look at how you have your body wen you are hitting these backhands.  You need to be quite straight to the table.  You will probably find that in a game at the moment you turn a lot to favour your forehand side.  Try to resist this and allow yourself to hit some backhands.

Often the way we stand will determine whether we like backhands or forehands.
