Hi Alois

What spin I should generate by using the backhand sidespin flick: straight sidespin or sidespin with some topspin.

Hi Nasko,

You need to get some topspin on the ball as well.  This will help the ball to dip onto the table which is important when the ball is travelling fast and needs to dip quickly over a short distance.

What needs to be the contact: flat or brushing?

You need to brush the ball with a lot of spin to get it up and down so quickly and also get the sidespin on the ball.
