Hi Alois and Jeff,
If the ball bounces on the middle of the table, which options are the best, Backhand topspin or backhand sidespin flick? On the tournament before, I was doubt to choose the backhand topspin and sidespin flick.
Thanks a lot!
Regards, Archel
Hi Archel,
If the ball is long then you should use the topspin. If the ball is short then you can think about the sidespin flick. You should also think about the flick. This should be the standard shot that you play to start with and only progress to the sidespin when you are confident in the stroke.
If the ball is closer to the middle then you can try the sidespin. Remember though that this is a difficult stroke to master.

So the normal flick is recommended than the sidespin flick?
Yes to start with use the normal flick. Then you can try the sidespin flick.
