Hi alois (or jeff),

I have watch some videos about heavy backspin serve (like ma lin's), i see the the angle of the bat is upwards. When i try it, my ball goes to high, so my solution is, when i toss the ball, i wait the ball fall down until his height is under the table, then i brush it to lift it up. When it bounce, the bounce doesn't too high, like a normal serves. The prob if i serving like this, i have to control the speed of my brush, and when i have to brush it, it is difficult. Can you give some advice to make it easier, and is there any matter i haven't know for serving like this?

Thank you, i am a penholder, i have a table but i rarely have a partner to play, my father usually busy! By the way, this is my fourth question!

Hi Kevin,

Interesting thought but you aren't allowed to hit the ball from under the level of the table.

Hi Kevin,

I think the ball goes too high because the brushing isn't smooth enough. I also had the same problem, but after a lot of practice, you can control the bounce.
