I am a relative beginner. When I play, including rallying and serving, the ball hits my index finger a lot and I lose the point. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi Samuel,

This can be annoying.  It may be that you can watch the ball more closely.  Also check that your finger is not creeping up the rubber during the rally.  It should be down really low but still on the rubber.
