hi there coach, I just wanted to ask something about placement during an attack in a middle of rally. Whenever I attack, I would have this simple mindset to have the ball get in. But the problem is I always forgot to think where to place the ball. How can I train my mind and my strokes so that I can place the ball anywhere I want to when I attack? thanks in advance.

Hi Wayne,

In training do some training where you are placing the attack to different positions.  In our Training Drills we often stipulate a position that you are aiming for with the first attack.  By doing this you are developing better control of the ball.

It is all about training.

Beating Defenders

Against defenders you've generally got a bit more time to make your attack and so you can be more selective on which ball to target. Think about finding your opponent's weaker side and whether they prefer a faster ball coming towards them or a slower ball. Try different spins, speed and placement!
