Hi Jimmy,

When you are practicing drills that don't involve multi-ball, you probably only need a couple of Table Tennis balls so then I would try and use better quality balls and even 3 star balls if you can afford to.

For multi-ball I think it is OK to use cheaper balls as it can be quite expensive to buy hundreds of 3 star Table Tennis balls. We have used Yasaka training balls in the past and they seem to be reasonable for multi-ball.

Are any other players out there using some kind of cheaper training balls for multi-ball practice? If so let us know what you are using and how good they are.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
