Hi Mehmet,

In these International tournaments you can usually practice for between 45 to 90 minutes on a table before a match.

Once you get onto the match table you only have 2 minutes to warm up with your opponent.

Sometimes it can seem like a player can do everything. When this is the case you need to find their weakest area and try to expose it as much as you can.

Hi coaches

Is there a different type of warm up to do before a match?

There are lots of things you can do.  A physical warm up is possible as well.

The main thing is that you are ready to go for the first point.  Make sure you take the opportunity to play some points as well before you start a match.

45 to 90 minutes ?  Is not that too much? Will someone who warms up for 90 minutes be the energy to make a match? (sorry for my englısh)

Also consider that there are rarely as many tables available as there are registered players, i.e. not everybody can warm up at the same time. Hence the larger opening warm-up time I guess.
