Equipment
Hi PingSkills,
I am new to Table Tennis but my work put in a table tennis table and I have been playing for a few months now. I am trying to learn the game instead of just hit the ball. I would like to perfect my game. I will be purchasing a table for my backyard since I do not have room in my house. Which mid-range table would you suggest?
Thanks,
-Anthony
Hi Anthony.
I don't have any specific suggestions but I am sure others on the site will be able to help.
I think if at all possible get an indoor table that you can pack away neatly and store indoors. The indoor tables tend to be a lot better bounce and are also more economical. You can get some that store into a small space.

I am in the same boat. I don't even have space to store one inside. It occurred to me though... If you have the entire table covered outside (and not in a puddle) when not in use, what difference does it make if it is indoor or outdoor? I suppose humidity is a factor since the indoor ones aren't all aluminum.
And yes, those indoor tables are much less expensive. Makes me wish I lived in a mansion... There'd be two main rooms... The ping pong chamber and the board game Hall.

Humidity is a factor outside with the wood.
