Equipment
Sir,
Which of the following would you recommend for offensive play relying mostly on spin?
Gki Euro V
Butterfly Wakaba 1000
Gki Euro Starpower
Thank you..
Hi Debabrat,
The Wakaba is a reasonable starting bat that will allow you to develop for about 6 months. We also have the PingSkills Rook which is a step up and will allow you to develop for at least 12 months.

thank you sir for your recommendation...
sir i did a bit of research online and based on customer reviews from sites like amazon and flipkart it seems that the wakaba lacks on spin. moreover the bat is not very durable and the rubber chips of from the edges with very little game play.
Sir could you recommend me a good bat for an intemediate - advanced player within the range of Rs 1500-2000 that is durable as well high on performance based on spin and speed..
Thank you..

Hi Debabrat,
I don’t think there is a bat that is durable and able to generate good spin and speed at that price.
Debabrat Mishra Posted 9 years ago
OK sir,
but which one would you suggest to be the best in that range?
Alois Rosario from PingSkills Posted 9 years ago
Probably something like the Wakaba.

Hey Alois, in India, we do not have a wide varity of blades and rubbers, but we do have the company Gki, which is pretty good at pre-made bats for beginners. I would say one should simply go for Gki than any ither butterfly, donic etz for starters. I request yuo to try one of the Gki bats (kung fu dx, offensive xx, or Euro XX) just to see the performance. because its really recommendable. Thanks. sorry if I am nagging you a lot.

thank you mr nagaraj for your recommendation ..i already tried out the kungfu..a bit on the heavy side..

yes, Debabrat. Almost all Gki bats are on the heavier side. But once u are used to it, Ull have no problem.

Which company has good rubbers among gki or donic?
Alois Rosario from PingSkills Posted 9 years ago
In general the Donic rubbers would be better, but you need to choose the right rubber as well.
