Hi Alois,

I'm a recreational player but very passionate about TT. I'm an aggressive player playing close to table. My style of play is Topspin on both wings. I loop and smash on FH and loop/smash/push on BH. I'm using a Butterfly innerforce ALC FL balde with TENERGY 25FX on both sides. This combination proves to be too fast for me resulting in loss of control. I'm thinking of changing either the rubber or blade to get a more controlled set up.

My options for the new set up are:

Swapping the rubbers on both sides with Mark V.(Please suggest the sponge size for FH and BH)

swapping the blade to Stiga All round classic/Evolution to slow things a bit and add control.

Please let me know your thoughts on it.

Thanks

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

Either of your suggested option for change would be OK.  If you were to change rubber you could use 2mm Mark V.  This will be a lot slower than the Tenergy 25 FX.

Or you could go for the PingSkills Touch with Mark V...
