Thanks for all your lessons coach.your videos are of great help to the whole bunch in my club.you guys are virtual coaches here.I have been playing  close to 1.5 years  with good control and speed over my strokes using my stiga all round classic blade with mark V(F:H) and sriver EL (B.H) rubbers.recently my blade broke and my rubbers are also worn out.I thought that it is time to move to a faster combination,so i went and bought myself an adidas v1.1 ALL blade(since i love control during my play) and adidas P5(F.H) and mark V(B.H) to compensate the ply with the faster forehand rubber.should i replace it with a adidas C500 OFF blade or is this combination good enough to increase the speed,spin....

I am an all round attacker with better forehand.

Hi Humair,

I really don't know much about these rubbers.  I hope one of our readers will be able to help you out here.

Sorry I can't help more.

Hey ping skills, thank you for your amazing video firstly. Well currently I'm using the Timo Boll W5 blade. Well what I wanted to ask is, is this blade good, what rubbers suit it, and what style of play suits this blade. Thank you. ( keep up the amazing work ).

I was referred here from your new youtube video, I hope you can give me some good quality advice. I also recently played the under 18's rank 10 player in England and got completely destroyed, all my serves were being attacked, even if it was a strong double bouncing backspin, and it felt like there was nothing to do but pick up the balls he wacked past me. When I asked for help from him after he beat me 11-3 11-3 and 11-1 he told me to practice service returns, basic strokes, flicks and to not play to his strengths (backhand) .. is this advice good, and how should I effectively train my basic strokes ?

Thanks in advance, I look forward to you answering my questions :)

Hi Yusuf,

The Timo Boll blade is good quality.

It sounds like you had a good experience playing a good player.  That sounds like he has given you some good advice.  It is really important to get the basics correct first.  It is a matter of repetitive training of the strokes so that they become totally natural.  If you have a deep interest int he sport you will improve with time and effort.
