Dear Alouis,

My kid is 10 years old, for past 1 year i was coaching my kid with pre made bat, now he is going to learn Table tennis from professional coach, presently he is using Butterfly Michael Maze Performance FL blade using used mark V and old sriver on it. The professional coach is of the opinion that Butterfly Primorac XXS (small handle for juniors) is a good blade to fit in his hands. Q1. whether XXS size really makes a difference for kids. and how is Primorac XXS blade?

Q2. how is donic waldner youngstar (for juniors) with new yasaka raksa 7 soft or mark V M2 instead of mark V rubbers?

Please help.

thanks

ABK

Hi Ashok,

I think the smaller handles can be good for a small hand because it allows them to relax their hand while playing.  Does the Michael Maze feel too big for his hand at the moment?

The Primorac blade is a good blade to learn with.  I would go for the Mark V rubber to start with.  I think the Rakza would be too fast.

I don’t know the Donic Waldner Youngster but by the looks of it, the blade would be suitable and not too fast.
