Hi Coach,

I have get a new partner few day ago. But I have a problem, whenever I play a fast rally with him, he swings the ball outwards/inwards with low topspin. I am unable to play that shot. I am totally confused. I need your help.

Thank you

It sounds like he is putting sidespin on the topspin to make it curve. This does make it difficult to block back. You need to adjust the angle of your bat to counter this sidespin.

Your other option is to play topspin back. Our video Topspin to Topspin will help you. Again you would need a small modification to counter the sidespin.
