brushing the ball on pendulum serve

Hi.

i've been practicing the pendulum serve for about 2 months now i can get the movement all right except the brushing is a pain because when i hit it against strong opponent spin doesnt work neither does on worse players so i've got all posture right just the brushing

Hi Jackson,

Yes, focus on the contact.  Try to kep the racket in theone plane.  Don't wiggle it around.  Keep it really simple until you get th econtact right.  This is an important feature of the serve.  Without a good contact you will not get spin.

Even simpliy things by going away from the table and just contrating on the contact again until you can feel the spin again.  Then work your way back to the table.

I see this a lot, with players having a great action but not getting any spin because of a poor contact.

Get back to basics and get the contact right first.
