Hello Alois, and Jeff, i have two questions, where do you guys live in the world. And i was wondering, i bought a carbon blade, donic gold, and mark 5. I have been playing as an offensive player for the last year. I tried a pre-made bat by butterfly,(just a 40$ all-around bat), is it ok for tournaments in the us? Well, im think that im going to become a deffensive player because its more of my game.. Thanks, the only reason why i think that i might use this pre-made bat is because its the cheapest thing that is great for a defense player, believe it or not! Could you help me out?
Thanks
SAM
Hi Sam,
We both live in Melbourne Australia.
The pre-made bat may be good for defending because it is a litlle slower. As you progress you could even get a more sophisticated defending rubber. Right now it sounds like you have found something suitable for you.
As long as the rubber has the ITTF approved stamp on it, then you should be able to use it in tournaments.
You can look up the ITTF website to check if the rubber is approved as well.
