Hi Alois, im about to buy a new table tennis bat because mine has lost some grip, and im still a beginner so i was wondering should i buy the pingskills rook? or i can just buy another control blade with DHS Hurricane 2 neo? And the problem with the hurricane 2 neo is that it has a bit of everything and the problem it's that it has a bit of speed. So now that i got used to that, should i buy the same type of blade and rubbers or it would be better a pingskills rook? im also afraid that im not going to generate some speed by doing any aggresive stroke faster by speeding up.

So Alois what would be the best suggestion?

Thanks! i love pingskills

Hi George,

The PingSkills Rook would be OK. You could even think about the PingSkills Touch with Mark V rubber on it if that was in your price range.

Well i wouldn't say the pingskills touch because maybe it has more speed than what i have and its for the intermediate. But will the rook generate speed if i make my strokes fast or it just goes slow and spinny?

The Rook is enough speed for learning strokes.  But do take a look at the video on What type of racket does Alois use?  I don’t think the Touch will be too fast for you if you get it with a good control rubber.
