I have been playing since i was 7. I train 4 hours a day 2 days a week if school is open. When school is closed, i play 3 hours a day 6 days a week. I love playing table tennis and it is my passion. Unfortunately, our country doesn't really have the best sport record. However, i want to become a professional table tennis player and change that. I am dedicated to training and i am willing to work hard. I don't know how else to explain it so i m sorry for the language. So can you please tell me some tips to become a true professional table tennis player.

Hi Kaung,

What you are currently doing is good.  Keep training hard and play some tournaments as well.

It takes a long time to make a champion.  At least 10 years of hard consistent training.  If you can keep it up for that long you will see how good you can get.

Beating Defenders

Against defenders you've generally got a bit more time to make your attack and so you can be more selective on which ball to target. Think about finding your opponent's weaker side and whether they prefer a faster ball coming towards them or a slower ball. Try different spins, speed and placement! Watch the video now to learn more great tips on how to beat a defender.
