changing rubber frequently is necessary??

hi. i have been using same rubbers for the past one & a half years. now suddenly i have started experiencing problems when pushing and looping .do you think its because of rubber? i started this problem suddenly. do you think even the best players cant manage to play with old rubbers???

Hi Dilip,

Rubbers do have a life span.  To check whether your rubber is still OK simply rub your finger across the surface.  If it is still gripping it is probably OK.  If the surface feels slippery it is worn out and it is time to replace them.  After a year and a half they are probably starting to get worn.
