Equipment
Hi PingSkills
I think I should share this and know your thought
My coach always won the 1st rank at tournament till National 4 years ago.
But what makes me surprise is he use the cheapest rubber than the other players
He use a very slow tacky rubber Dawei 388A-4 which is only 7$ on forehand for deadly attack while lots of player try to get the fastest rubber with expensive price but still can't be a winner
When I block his topspin drive, I can feel the ball really slow but when it hits my racket I feel struggle and can't control it which I can control another topspin with such a fast tensor rubber
He always tell me that it's all about technique
It makes me realize that price is not the key and I think that I should try to get such a cheap rubber like him and improve more with my technique
What do you think about it?
And I just want to know what is the best rubber bellow 10$ in your oppinion? I think this will help them who only have low budget
Hi Frendy,
Exactly! I agree with your coach 100%.
I don’t know what the best rubber under $10 is but the Dawei is fine.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
