Choosing a Bat

Equipment

I want to buy a bat.
I have looked into it a bit, and I was wondering if I should get a Butterfly Timo Boll ($30) or a Schildkrot Waldner ($30)?

Butterfly Timo Boll -
Schildkrot Waldner (comes with dvd/cd)
So which bat should I get? The stores I am getting them at they are both $30, and the stores are across the road from each other (one of them is rebel sports).
They are both around 2mm thickness. I always thought butterflys were good except the yellow in this one seems cheap?
On Ebay, the butterfly is $20 and the Schildkrot Waldner is $45 which kind of confuses me because they are the same price in the store, so which one?
Thank you so much :D

Hi Macrya,

Both these bats will only last you a little while. The important thing with these bats is the quality of the rubber.  You will find that the rubber will wear very quickly on both of these.

There is very little difference between these. Choose the one that feels the most comfortable.

We would recommend the  PingSkills Rook.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
