How to return a "chop smash" When the ball is high and instead of a normal smash they chop it but with force, like a smash.

The best thing is to watch the ball. The ball will curve and rise pretty quickly so you need to move back quickly and to the side to get a play on it.
I guess the good thing is that the chop smash is a higher risk stroke so sometimes they might miss and then you just need to go and pick up the ball...
