Hi, PingSkills I am an aggressive attacker but find myself going back a lot. I am considering becoming a modern defender because I have never really picked up backhands. I tried chopping for a couple sessions and really loved it so please tell me should I become a chopper and if so can you recommend a bat under $200

thanks in advance

Hi Sidhak,

If you feel that you have a flair and interest in chopping then you should definitely pursue it.  Sounds like you are also enjoying playing that way.  Give it a try for at least a month and then make a decision.

Regarding a bat, just use what you have now but you can change the backhand rubber to something slower or even a long pimple rubber.
