I recently bought the Hurricane 3 Neo rubber and after the first 2 hours of playing time I decided to clean it. I used a damp cloth to wipe off the dust but I noticed that the rubber surface got less sticky afterwards than when I first played opened it. Is this normal? I also noticed when I was cleaning it that there was this greasy substance in my hand from the rubber which washed off. Please help because I'm afraid I ruined the rubber? Keep up the good videos!!
Hi Luke,
Don’t worry you haven’t ruined the rubber. They tend to come with a slight film on them. You are right to clean it with a damp cloth.
The surface may be less sticky on the surface but the rubber will still have grip when the ball sinks into it.

Hi Alois,
Thank you for your great answer, it really helped me stop worrying but I recently read that chinese rubber tend to be be really tacky and they can lift the ball up just by pressing on it but mine can't anymore, is that a bad sign?
I'm sorry if I'm asking too many questions I tend to worry a lot.

Don’t worry, picking up the ball like that isn’t a true indication on the effectiveness of a rubber.

Dont worry about that, The tackiness is suposed to almost dissapear after some time and the tackiness will change into grip. It will still be a little bit tacky but you will not able to pick up balls with the rubber like you where when you got it out of the package.
