Cleaning your own paddle

hi pingskills! So, its been a while since i bought my paddle... Now the handle is kinda dirty because of sweat or dirt that comes from my hand. Do you have any tips on how to clean it to make it look brand new? Thank you and have a good day!

Hi Jethro,

Firstly I don’t think the sweat and dirt will effect the performance of the bat.

However, you could use a little very fine sand paper or grit paper to smooth it off and get some of the upper layer off.  Make sure you don’t use a very hard paper as it may effect the balance of the bat.
