Color of sponges

What is the difference between the colors of sponges? The most common are oranges and whites, but the difference there sponges blue, green I've seen, but what is the difference? By the way what is the difference between normal hurricane 3 and a with blue sponge?

Hi Minato,
The colour doesn't make a difference but the compound of the sponge makes a difference. The manufacturers just colour them differently so that you can tell the difference.
The Hurricane 3 Blue sponge is a faster rubber. It is a bit harder than the others.
