Contact part of the bat

Hi Alois and Jeff,

I am addicated to this game now...I have nobody to teach the game but your channel and you tube. I am new to your channel and hence taking the opportunity to ask my doubt. I will be comliting 9 months to this game and have started playing well but i sometime think my progress has stop. my confusion is. i heard that we should play from the middle of the bet always. but while i see your videos specially i have notice that you play from the top of the bat..and never seen you play feom the middel...can you advise if i have watched you correctly cause i tried it couple of time when i play top spin i have succeed most of the time..can i you advise when i should use top of the racket and not? is it ok for top spin rally? i dont wanna play without technique.

I may be slow but i never give up. whenever you make video can you also include the contact part of the bat for me please.

Hi Deepak,

When you are doing your topspin you can hit it with the top part of the bat.  For control shots you can hit with the middle of the bat.

Great to hear you are enjoying the game so much and also that you are focusing and never give up.  That is a great attitude.
