Good to be back to TT after a 2 month break!!!  Anyway, my question is how do I increase the contact time with the ball to increase my spin.  It seems I have forgotten the art of putting more spin on the ball and the only thing I am achieving is loop killing with really low contact time with the ball.  Can I do the fast and spinny loop with a longer follow through motion?

Hi Abhiram,

The contact time is very marginal.  Soften your grip and feel on the racket.

Ok so it looks like I've been going the wrong way about it and just need to feel the ball hit the rubber and not all the way to the wood. My grip has always been pretty loose .Thanks Again and wish you a Merry Christmas.
