Hello sir, I am Soham, I have a great problem regarding my wrist action. While playing forehand topspin, My wrist automatically bends but my shoulder actions and all actions are correct only the wrist bends . Seniors always tell to change that because afterwards I will be unable to pick cut balls and also will be unable to hit down the line straight court perfectly. So will you please suggest some exercise or techniques while playing to change this habit?

Hi Soham,

I think the best way to do this is to experiment with the angles of the wrist.  So think about bending the ball left and right.  Then see if you can get it straight as well.  This will get your wrist to relax and feel the different positions it can get into.  Eventually you will be able to have some control of the position.

Do you think that if I keep my wrist still bending then it will really cause a problem to me to lift cut balls ? Or to play down the line cross court ?
