Hi Coaches thank you for your answers for my questions before, I\'m currently working on it, I want to ask another question, is there any other things that can affect my table tennis games than training? Example: playing other sport that can help me improve or another hobbies that can affect my games or something to do when not training? Thanks

 Hi Iavandri,

You can do some off table training for fitness.  Take a look at these previous blogs on the subject.

Strength Conditioning for Table Tennis

Weight Training Specifically for Table Tennis

You can also think about things you can do with your Table Tennis when you are off the table.  We have done a lesson on Practicing Alone which will give you some ideas.

You can do other sports that are aerobic based that will help with your aerobic fitness.  Things like Tennis or squash, even Badminton will help with hand eye coordination and aerobic fitness.

It's important to take the initiative in a rally. My old coach used to call this forcing the pace. To get better at forcing the pace, we are going to consciously go for more power on our third ball shots. We may miss a few more balls but that is part of our development.

Yes watching good table tennis will help as well.  It can be either on video or live.  Live is probable better.  It will create good images for your body to copy.
