Hi Alois,
I only can do a strong forehand topspin (such as against chopping) but I can't do a forehand slow and soft topspin. When my opponent push a ball just over the table on my left side, I can do a backhand side flick but if a soft backspin ball on my right side, just over the table, I can't do a forehand slow topspin against it (it is a save return).
Many players can do this by wrist quick fine brush (curve or vertical brush). I have been trying to gain this skill for years but I am still missing something, can't do it. Do you have a video showing how to do this? Thank you.
Hi Paul,
It may be your feet position. Try to get your feet closer to the table and your body close to the ball. Then brush more forward on the ball.
