Hey Alois and Jeff,

I've been playing for the past 5 months and thanks to your online videos, I've improved quite a bit. I 've been playing with a pre made bat (costs around 10 Australian dollars ) and was thinking to go in for a new blade and rubbers, I wanted to ask your opinion on a good blade ( Butterfly is my 1st choice ) and a good set of rubbers to go along with it. My current style of playing is offensive ( forehand drive and smash mostly, currently developing backhand topspin as well).

I also wanted to ask about the DHS and 729 brands of rubber, although they are really cheap here, are they durable enough to last at least 6 months given 2 hours of game play per week? I was looking to go in for the high speed 729 rubber is possible but was wondering about its durability.

Thanks in advance
Eric.

Hi Eric,

The DHS bats in general will last you at least 6 months.  There are all levels of DHS bat.  Because they are relatively cheap, select one a little higher in their range.

The William Henzell Bat that we stock is one we recommend as well.
